Channel Sales Representative - Groton, Connecticut, USA

The Channel Sales Representative “CSR” is responsible for managing strategic partnerships with Easymeeting resellers/channels to increase understanding and sales of our products and services in an assigned territory. The CSR will support and manage  existing channel partners, onboard new resellers/channels, up-selling to our customer base, and uncover  new opportunities. The CSR will drive revenue and business for Easymeeting through all revenue streams in order to reach their performance targets.

Full Description of the Channel Sales Representative's Roles & Responsibilities

The CSR represents the company in all activities associated with reseller/channel support. The CSR will report to the Channel Sales Director of Easymeeting. The role is based in Groton, Connecticut and some travel is required for this position. The right candidate will have the drive to exceed expectations and be willing to learn new technology and skills. The candidate must also be proactive and thrive in both a team and independent environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hunt for and successfully onboard new reseller relationships
  • Manage new and existing partner relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Meet/Exceed annual sales quota set forth by sales director
  • Motivate new and existing resellers/channels to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, and support.
  • Schedule and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews and/or weekly activity plans with each reseller and manage reseller sales pipelines
  • Close sales and establish relationships by building rapport with the prospective client; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing sales quotes and sales orders.
  • Report pipeline and sales activities in CRM
  • Overnight travel required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • 2+years of sales success - Including a Proven Track Record in Channel Sales Planning and Implementation
  • Comfortable with technology and desire to learn and utilize new technology
  • CRM reporting experience
  • Client-focused and strong leader
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

COMPENSATION

  • Salary: $45,000 + Commission
  • Benefits package includes medical insurance, 401k plan, and telephone reimbursement after 90 days of employment
